Oils of Paicines is a small, family-run business, nestled in the foothills of California's Central Coast. Our family carefully nurtures thousands of pesticide-free, certified organic, Mission olive trees, allowing the olives to ripen slowly so that they will naturally develop their subtle fruity and nutty flavors. We then hand pick the olives and quickly cold press them to produce an incredibly full-flavored aromatic extra virgin olive oil. To retain every bit of natural flavor, we do no filter our olive oil (which is why our oils are not crystal clear). Try our tasty olive oil on salads, pasta, or fresh baked bread. Buon Appetito!

Produced from late-harvest, hand-picked, Central Coast region Mission olives, Oils of Paicines is an extra virgin, first cold press olive oil...richly mellow, yet fruity, with an incredibly clean finish and delectable aroma. After nurturing our Mssion olives to tree ripened perfection, we hand pick the fruit which arrives at the mill within hours. There, the artful stages of processing begin, when the olives are washed, then quickly cold pressed. The first golden oil to flow from the just-crushed olives, designated as "Extra Virgin", is the only olive oil labeled "Oils of Paicines". A rare bounty, our olive oil is unadorned and unfiltered, just as nature would have it. It is aged for months before sending it to market. Our beautiful bottles are imported from Italy.
Our most recent harvest of 100% Certified Organic California First Cold Press Extra Virgin Olive Oil won another medal at the prestigious 2010 Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. Over the years, our late-harvest extra virgin olive oil has received Gold, Silver, Bronze and Best in Class medals...all truly distinctive honors.

Our Estate 100% Certified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from the Mission varietal. We gently pick our olives as they are turning from purple to black so that our oil has a distinctive buttery flavor. Our olives are rushed to a local mill for pressing. This process locks in important antioxidants that olive oil, a monounsaturated oil, is so well known for. We pride ourselves in creating this heart healthy and delicious product.
